Founded in 1891, Seattle Pacific University has a long and distinguished history in Christian higher education, where students are educated for missionary service. The University provides more than 3,800 students with comprehensive education grounded on the gospel of Jesus Christ. Pacific is located very close to downtown Seattle. The academic structure comprises of the College of Arts and Sciences (Fine Arts, Humanities, Science and Engineering, and Social and Behavioral Sciences) and several schools (Business and Economics, Education, Health Sciences, Psychology, Family and Community and Theology).
