South Puget Sound Community College, founded in 1962, is located at Olympia, Washington. It is a public institution, which is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. It serves students with more than 6,000 programs, which include accounting technology, applied horticulture, computer and information sciences, dental assisting, engineering technologies, liberal arts and sciences, medical transcription, and welding technology among others. It also provides technical and transfer degrees; and non-credit community education classes.
