Southwestern Christian University was established in 1946 for training men and women for church leadership, and was then known as Southwestern Bible College. In 2001 the name of the college was changed to Southwestern Christian University; it is located in the Bethany area of metropolitan Oklahoma City. The University offers programs like: Biblical Studies, Business Administration, Church Music or Music Performance, English, Human & Family Services, Missions, Religion, Youth & Family Services, Youth Ministry, Associate of Arts Degree, Fast Track Program and a Certificate in Bible.
