The University of Baltimore was founded in 1925 as a private institution. It became a state institution in 1975, and today is part of the University System of Maryland; the university is located at Baltimore, Maryland. Currently around 5,843 students are enrolled at the university. There are three schools within the University of Baltimore: the Yale Gordon College of Liberal Arts, Merrick School of Business and School of Law that offer more than 50 undergraduate, graduate and professional degree programs.
