Established as a teachers college in 1871, University of Central Missouri is located in Warrensburg, southeast of Kansas City. Around 11,046 graduate and undergraduate students are currently enrolled in the university. Classes are also offered at the Summit Center located in Lees Summit and the extended campus offers 17 degree programs in 11 locations. Central Missouri offers 150 programs of study leading to an associates degree, certificate, bachelors degree, masters degree, education specialist degree, or cooperative doctorate.
