The University of Connecticut Health Center was founded in 1961 and is located in Farmington, Connecticut. The current enrollment is around 30,000 students. The Center is composed of the School of Medicine, School of Dental Medicine, John Dempsey Hospital, the UConn Medical Group, UConn Health Partners and University Dentists. The Health Center offers degree programs in medicine, dental medicine, biomedical science, public health and dental science; besides offering postdoctoral fellowships, residency programs and continuing education.
