Founded in 1976, the University of Phoenix is a private university offering more than 100 degree programs at more than 200 locations, as well as internet curriculum in several foreign locations. The University offers undergraduate degree, graduate degree and continuing education programs in the following subject areas: business, management, technology, criminal justice, health care and education. Doctoral programs are also offered in the areas of management, business, health and education. A total of 397,700 students are enrolled at the different campuses of the University of Phoenix.
