The University of Pittsburgh – Greensburg, a public institution, was opened in 1963 and was granted four-year degree-granting status in 1988. Located at Greensburg, Pennsylvania, the University campus consists of 22 buildings. It offers 20 Bachelor-level, four-year degree programs as well as many pre-professional programs. The baccalaureate programs offered include Chemistry, Management, Psychology and Mathematics, to name a few and the minors offered range from behavioral sciences and humanities to natural sciences. There are currently 1630 students; the student – staff ratio is 18:1.
