The University of South Carolina Upstate, formerly known as the University of South Carolina Spartanburg, was founded in 1967. It is a public college situated in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The total university enrollment is about 5,000. It awards the bachelors degree, masters degree, certification and pre-professional programs in majors like Chemistry, Computer Science, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Education, Information Management and Systems, Pre-Law ,Pre-Pharmacy, etc. These programs are offered via the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Education, School of Nursing and College of Business and Economics.
