The University of Tennessee Space Institute, a public institution, was established in 1964 and is located in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Almost 1,500 graduate degrees, including more than 180 doctorates have been awarded through the University. The college offers full-time and part-time MS and PhD programs as well as post doctoral research programs. The degree programs are offered in areas of Aviation Systems, Engineering, Mathematics and Physics. Off-campus offerings are made available through the use of distance learning technologies in some academic disciplines.
