The Vermont Law School was founded in 1973 and is located at South Royalton, Vermont. Currently there are 635 full-time students enrolled at the school. Five degree programs are offered: Juris Doctor, Master of Environmental Law and Policy, Joint JD and MELP, Master of Laws in Environmental Law, and the LLM in American Legal Studies (for international students). Besides these degrees, several programs like the Environmental Law Program, Exchange Programs, Legal Writing Program, and Environment- and Energy-Focused Courses are also conducted by the university.
