Virginia State University is a public institution that was established in 1882 and is located in Petersburg, Virginia. It has an enrollment of approximately 4,720 students and it comprises of the following schools, namely, School of Agriculture, School of Business, School of Engineering, Science and Technology, School of Graduate Studies, Research and Outreach and School of Liberal Arts and Education. The College offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in the fields of agriculture, hospitality management, accounting and finance, management, continuing education, criminal justice, sociology, sports management, visual communication and engineering.
