Winston-Salem State University is a public research university located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Established in 1892 it has a current enrollment of nearly 6,000 students. It offers over 40 academic majors and ten graduate degree programs and five certificate programs through the School of Graduate Studies and Research in cooperation with the academic colleges and schools. The graduate programs are offered in the fields of computer science and information technology, nursing, occupational therapy, rehabilitation counseling, teaching, English, education and business administration.
