Flinders University

Flinders University has been creating a long-lasting positive impact in the hearts and minds of students and communities over the past 50 years. It has pioneered itself through its versatile teaching methods and research excellence. Established in 1966, the University has received several accolades in diverse fields.

Curiosity and ambition are the tenets that Flinders abides by, to help itself reach greater heights. The University’s main campus lies in Bedford Park, besides other locations in Victoria Square and Tonsley. It is a proud member of the International Network of Universities and Innovative Research Universities Australia.

The strong network shared between the University and its global partners has created a dynamic learning environment, which is of paramount importance to students.

Research is a key part of the University’s teaching; there are diverse areas students can choose from – engineering and technology, health and medical, people and society, and science, environment and natural resources. The University has its own research centres of national standards. It also works with other organisations and institutes, addressing real-world issues.

Over 4,000 international students study at Flinders’ campuses. Flinders delivers its courses through six of its colleges. And it offers several awards and recognitions to students based on their merit.

Each of Flinders’ campus has state-of-the-art facilities for students, helping them with their academic and cultural growth.
