Nisha Sahni from Delhi has extensive experience, working in the marketing field and across various renowned hotel chains in India. Nisha’s overall experience of 9+ years, donning several hats with various managerial roles, has stood her in good stead. She has bagged an exceptional offer now from the University of Sydney, Australia.

Look for marketing courses in Australia.

Nisha's Career Overview

Nisha holds two bachelors degrees – in Design and in Arts (completed in 2002 and 2003, respectively) from Delhi University. Shortly after completing her bachelors, she started her own social media projects, and in 2013 she was awarded the title ‘social media champion’ for all IHG hotels in India. She didn’t stop there; she went on to enrol herself for a correspondence course in 2014 on Marketing Essentials, Change Management and Leadership & Motivation.  And she was tutored online by a professor from Harvard.

Later, she moved on to launch promotional campaigns for bigger brands like the hotel Oberoi in Mumbai and achieved massive success. And soon she realised that she should move one-step ahead of her career, which would be possible with a masters degree abroad.

So Nisha decided to pursue Master of Marketing from one of the best business schools in Australia – the University of Sydney. “This course is meant for people with good professional experience and the particular programme ‘Marketing Consulting Project’ drew my attention to a great extent. It would help me work with a company of my choice and I also look forward to improve my leadership skills,” says Nisha.

We’re glad we could help Nisha get placed at one of the top universities in the world. Our counsellors are always keen on meeting and helping people like her who have a real zeal for making things happen and never take ‘no’ for anything. Though she had average marks and a correspondence degree, she built her profile and worked hard towards it. She made it a point to devote at least 9 years of her life into learning things like marketing strategies, brand building and product positioning  so that she can achieve the next ‘best’ thing.

On asking her about her further plans, she says: “I would like to use my knowledge and experience gathered in the marketing sector in automobile or luxury goods sector. “As Nisha says she is a ‘brand-oriented’ and ‘result-driven’ individual, we wish her good luck in all her future endeavours.
