Bond University Indigenous Medical Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

Aboriginal and/ or Torres Strait Islander people who are expected to meet the requisite academic criteria and have a passion to be an Indigenous Doctor and leader for their community are encouraged to apply.

The Academic Criteria before people are invited for an MMI interview include:

  • Overall secondary academic results (which must include Year 12 English and Chemistry OR Maths B OR Physics OR equivalent)
  • Structured interview ranking.

Postgraduate applicants will be assessed on the following criteria:

  • GPA from previous university degree (all subjects within the qualification completed within the last 9 years) which also demonstrates qualifications at least equivalent to Queensland Year 12 English and Chemistry OR Maths B OR Physics OR an equivalent.

Bond Business School Postgraduate Bursaries

Eligibility requirements

  • Eligibility is judged on your contribution to the community, whatever form that might take.
  • The bursary is not available to students already enrolled in any of the programs listed above. You must be academically qualified for entry into your chosen program and accept a place in the program if one is offered.
  • Eligibility is not judged solely on academic achievement or financial need, but on your contribution to the community. Examples of judging criteria include community involvement, leadership qualities, artistic achievements, sporting achievements, and other activities where you have been recognised for your contribution.
  • Students who are eligible for any financial aid including scholarship or alumni discount are not eligible for the Postgraduate Bursary.

The bursary comes in the form of a cash payment of AUD $4,200 to help with your living expenses while you study. The bursary will be paid in two equal installments: AUD $2,100 in Week 5 of the first semester of study and AUD $2,100 six months afterwards.

Georgina Hope Rinehart Swimming Excellence Scholarship

Living allowance of $21,000 cash bursary given to the student each year as a cash payment, for up to three years.

Bond University Indigenous Scholarships

ADCO Sports Excellence Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

  • Available to domestic students applying for a single undergraduate or postgraduate degree at Bond University (with the exception of Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery, Doctor of Physiotherapy, Master of Psychology; Clinical and Forensic and Master of Creative Arts).
  • Applicants must demonstrate outstanding and current involvement in their chosen sport (preference given to Olympic sports) via a detailed sporting resume and submission of at least two relevant references
  • Applicants must demonstrate strong leadership capabilities
  • Applicants must meet the prerequisites and the admissions requirements for their chosen degree
  • Submission of a summary of achievements

Application details

Applications are open online throughout the year. All students must complete an Online Application Form before the closing date to be considered for this scholarship.They must submit a personal statement, sporting resume and summary of achievements as well as two references with their application. Applicants may be asked to provide evidence of their sporting achievements to date.

Value details

50 per cent tuition scholarship for any single undergraduate degree or single postgraduate degree; A AUD $10,000 bursary will be awarded as a cash payment and made directly to the scholar’s Bond student account. AUD $10,000 cash bursary per year of study for a maximum of 2 years (or pro-rated for part-time students to a maximum of AUD $20,000).

Padma and Hari Harilela Bursary

  • Be currently enrolled in the final semester, or have completed*, the Bachelor of Architectural Studies at Bond University.
  • Be currently achieving, or have achieved, a minimum cumulative percentage average of 65% in the Bachelor of Architectural Studies.
  • Submit a portfolio of relevant work produced during Bachelor degree candidature in support of their scholarship application.
  • Be accepted for admission and offered a place in the Master of Architecture degree.
  • Provide a statement and demonstrate, with appropriate documentary evidence, significant financial need.

Eligibility requirements

The Year 12 Extension Program Scholarship will be awarded at the university's discretion to the student who achieves the highest overall result in the Year 12 Extension Program. The recipient must also meet the academic entry requirements of their chosen degree and will be subject to academic performance guidelines whilst studying at Bond University.

Judge John Newton Mooting Scholarship

Bond University is pleased to offer three part-fee scholarships each year to students who have exceptional advocacy skills and a passion for studying law. Applications are open to students who have previously competed in Bond University’s National High School Mooting Competition and are currently completing Year 12 at an Australian High School.
