Hodgkin House Accommodation Scholarship

The scholarship is for a September 2020 start and will last for one academic year (12-15 months). It includes single accommodation in Hodgkin House, Clifton, and bills for internet, water, and electricity. Applicants must: hold an unconditional offer or a conditional offer where IELTS or equivalent English language is the only condition be a new student to UWE Bristol with no previous UK study; be classed as overseas for fees purposes; have Ugandan, Kenyan or Tanzanian nationality and be Ugandan, Kenyan or Tanzanian domiciled; declare details of any sponsorship or scholarship secured or applied for provide official transcripts at the time of application. This is a one-off award, which is non-renewable after the first year of study unless otherwise specified.

Faculty of Health and Applied Sciences MSc Scholarship

Eligible applicants must have achieved the equivalent of a British first or 2:1 in an undergraduate degree; hold an unconditional offer or a conditional offer where IELTS or equivalent English language is the only condition; be a new student to UWE Bristol with no previous UK study; be classed as overseas for fees purposes; not be a sponsored student or in receipt of another scholarship/award; provide official transcripts at the time of application; Note for successful candidates: you will need to prove when accepting the Scholarship that you satisfy the UKVI criteria in terms of being able to cover living costs and the remainder of the fee.

Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship

Student requirements

The Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship is competitive. Scholarships will be awarded to those applicants who most closely meet or exceed the criteria by completing the scholarship task. You must be able to start your postgraduate course in the next academic year. For example, if you finished your course in 2018/19 or 2019/20 your postgraduate course must start in 2020/21. You are eligible to apply if you fit into the below criteria: you have either graduated from, or are due to complete, a full-time or part-time UWE Bristol undergraduate degree in the current academic year and you have graduated from a full-time or part-time UWE Bristol undergraduate degree in the previous academic year. In order to apply for any UWE Bristol scholarships, you must have received an offer to study at UWE Bristol by Friday 12 June 2020. Remember to apply for the course early to ensure your scholarship application can be considered. Please check for the website for more details.

Application details

Applicants will be invited to apply via their UWE Welcome portal on their course application offer letter. The application deadline for the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship for September 2020 is Tuesday 30 June 2020. We will contact you within seven working days of your submitted scholarship application to confirm you are through to the assessment stage. The assessments take place in July 2020. If you are successful, you will be notified via email by Thursday 30 July 2020.

The scholarship will provide a tuition fee discount of 50% on selected full-time and part-time postgraduate courses, and includes the 15% alumni discount. Scholarships have limited availability.
