Anyone can apply for an award as long as they have met the academic requirements for a course and subsequently been given a conditional or unconditional place at Brunel University London. As main criteria, all applicants must be able to demonstrate sporting achievement at junior international level or equivalent in one of the priority sports listed below and/or evidence a top 10 age ranking within their choosen sport. Our Sport Scholarship Programme award will contain exclusive benefits that focus on access to great training facilities as well as support facilities all available on campus. We have a wide range of talented students at Brunel University London, therefore the programme is designed to benefit those students from a world-class performance level competing at an international level through to English Schools Champions. We offer the following Sport Scholarships tiers for team sports: Gold Sport Scholarship Award - participating at major international competitions at a Senior level; Silver Sport Scholarship Award - participating at junior international competitions or equivalent; Bronze Bursary Award - participating at a national level/national ranking competition. The first deadline for applications is the 31 July to ensure accommodation places are met if you have opted for athlete friendly accommodation. The second deadline will be 31 August , but will not guarantee athlete friendly accommodation.

Dean's International Scholarship for Occupational Therapy & Physiotherapy (Physical Therapy) 2020/21 Terms and Conditions

This scholarship is only available to full-time international students and will only be paid once for each eligible level of study, subject to meeting progression requirements. To be eligible for a Dean’s Scholarship an applicant must: Apply for and fulfil the entry criteria for admission to the following courses: - BSc Occupational Therapy ; - MSc Occupational Therapy (pre-registration); - BSc Physiotherapy ; - MSc Physiotherapy (pre-registration). Be in receipt of an offer to study on one of the above programmes starting in September 2020. Have been assessed by Brunel University London as an international student for tuition fee purposes. Be in receipt of an Unconditional Firm offer of place by the time Scholarships are confirmed in September. Those not eligible for these Scholarships; Applicants NOT classed as Overseas for fees purposes. Applicants holding an offer on a course offer than BSc Occupational Therapy, MSc Occupational Therapy (pre-registration), BSc Physiotherapy and MSc Physiotherapy (pre-registration); Applicants who will NOT commence their course in September 2020 - applicants holding offers for deferred entry must apply for scholarships in the month and year they intend to start their course and not in the year of their course application. Undergraduate applicants entering a course at level 5 (year 2) or level 6 (year 3). Applicants entering a course with London Brunel International College (LBIC), or who are progressing to a Brunel course from an LBIC course. Applicants entering a course with the Brunel Language Centre.

Application details

No separate scholarship application is required. Applicants should apply for the Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy programme in the usual way, via UCAS or via the Brunel online application portal. Scholarship eligibility will be automatically considered and the scholarship will be awarded on a first come, first served basis. The College will consider applicants for the scholarship until 20th August 2020. Once all scholarships have been allocated, the College will put prospective students on a Waitlist for consideration.

MBA Scholarship (Full-time & Part-time)

International applicants joining the Brunel MBA in September 2020 and January 2021 of the 2020/21 academic year. We are offering 30 scholarships for the full-time MBA and 20 for the part time MBA programme. The Part Time MBA Scholarship (Corporate/Private sector) is a £9,000 tuition fee waiver for a maximum of two years only, split equally across both academic years, £4,500 per year. The Part Time MBA Scholarship (Public/Government) is a £11,000 tuition fee waiver for a maximum of two years only, split equally across both academic years, £5,500 per year. Eligibility: To be eligible for a Brunel MBA Scholarship an applicant must: 2.1 Apply and fulfill the entry criteria for admission to the Brunel full-time or part-time MBA programme. Awards will be only made to the candidates holding an offer of a place on the MBA programme. 2.2 Be in receipt of an offer to study on a full-time or part-time MBA programme starting in September 2020 or January 2021. 2.3 Complete the Brunel MBA scholarship application form comprising of an essay of no more than 500 words and a supporting statement. Part Time MBA only scholarship: 2.4 The part time MBA scheme is only open to Home fee paying applicants. Successful applicants with relevant valid UK resident status for the expected programme duration, upon enrolment. The applicant will be asked to provide evidence of this where it is not clear. Applicants who are unsure of their fee status should note Brunel uses the information they have provided in their application form to assess fee status against regulations set by the UK government. 2.5 For the purpose of the MBA scholarship an organisation which is controlled by a national, state or provincial/local government authority, it will be considered as a public sector entity. The corporate sector is the part of a country's economic system that is run by individuals and/or companies, rather than by the government. In addition part time MBA applicants are required to submit documentary evidence of their work experience during their application, the applicants should provide confirmation letters from the employers. The employer's letter will need to exhibit the nature and kind of the organisation that the applicant works for. The public/private sector differentiation and the value of the award will be calculated accordingly. Those not eligible for this Bursary; 2.6 Applicants who will not commence their course in the upcoming academic year - applicants holding offers for deferred entry will be considered for a bursary in the year they start their course and not in the year of their course application.

International Excellence Scholarship 2020/21

Applicants for an International scholarship must meet the following eligibility criteria: Must be classed as Overseas for fees purposes and be self-funded (not sponsored). Applicants who are unsure of their fee status should note Brunel uses the information they have provided in their application form to assess fee status against regulations set by the UK government. Must have an offer to study on a full time postgraduate taught programme (including placement routes and undergraduate integrated Masters programmes) starting in September 2020 or January 2021. Must complete the relevant Scholarship application by the stated deadline. All applicants must meet all conditions of their offer by the time they are due to register at Brunel.

NSIRC Scholarships in Structural Integrity

Student requirements

Candidates should have a relevant degree at 2.1 minimum, or an equivalent overseas degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics or Civil/Structural Engineering, Material Science, Metallurgy or Physics. Candidates with suitable work experience and strong capacity in numerical modelling and experimental skills are particularly welcome to apply. Overseas applicants should also submit IELTS results (minimum 6.5) if applicable. The National Structural Integrity Research Centre (NSIRC) is a state-of-the-art postgraduate engineering facility established and managed by structural integrity specialist TWI offering PhD and MSc programmes in structural integrity. cholarships are provided for international students with funding up to £30k per annum for three years which covers fees and stipend.

The Rotary Foundation Scholarship

Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship Terms and Conditions 2020/21

The Postgraduate Academic Excellence scholarship is available for students on Postgraduate Taught (PGT) courses at Brunel University London and is available to all Overseas fee paying students who have obtained a First Class undergraduate degree; from a UK University, either in the UK or at an overseas campus or obtained the equivalent of a UK First Class degree from an EU institution. The Scholarship will be awarded to all full time, part time, distance learning or online learning students who meet all the following criteria: 2.1 Have an unconditional offer to study a taught Master’s programme at Brunel University London, this includes the MBA and Mres programmes. 2.2 Have achieved a First Class honours degree from a UK University or an EU University. a) For a UK degree: the award must be from a UK University, the student does not have to have attended a UK based campus. b) An honours degree awarded with distinction is acceptable where no first class classification exists. c) Holding a higher degree, without having achieved a First Class classification at undergraduate level does not qualify for receipt of this award. d) For an EU equivalent the award must be from a recognised EU institution and be the equivalent of a of a first class honours degree, as listed in appendix 1. Those not eligible for this scholarship: Applicants on all associate courses or modules. Applicants undertaking short courses. All PGCert, PGDip and PGCE courses - with the exception of all PGCE Secondary Education with PE and PGCE Primary (which are not TDA funded). Applicants on Postgraduate Research courses Those who are being funded either in full or partially. This includes: - Courses funding by the NHS Bursary (including MA Social Work) - Bursaries provided by the National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL). This discount will apply to courses that are not eligible for a bursary, namely the PGCE in Primary Education and the PGCE in Secondary Education with PE only. - Applicants on the PGCert Education (Primary) FT - Courses that are fully funded by the Environment Agency namely the MSc Flood and Costal Engineering; Additionally, graduates of Brunel University London who register for a taught postgraduate programme or a research degree (including career development loans) on a fully self-funding basis will receive the Alumni discount of 15% on the final tuition fee amount due, after any other discount has been applied.
