Georgian College understands that the cost of education can be a significant consideration for aspiring learners, and is dedicated to keeping its tuition fees accessible to motivated students from all economic backgrounds. The college provides many financial support options through their financial services department, including guidance for securing low-cost housing, help with budgeting and fee payment, as well as access to part-time job opportunities.
Additionally, the college awards more than 650 scholarships and bursaries to new and returning students each year, with a value of over CAD 750,000 in scholarships and CAD 3 million in bursaries. Georgian College is considered to be a moderately selective institution, with a relatively high acceptance rate, and with three yearly intake points for most courses. For most programs, it is required that students be of 19 years of age and must hold a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent. Some courses may require additional prerequisites in the form of an essay or portfolio. There are many alternative pathways to enrolment, and applications are considered on an individual basis.
