The college has also recently introduced new Graduate Certificate Program Pairs, which allow students to enrol and undertake further learning and training that suits their aspirations. These graduate certificate program pairs are designed to complement the experiences and learning that students will be undertaking in the classroom.
Attending graduate certificate programs can allow students to lengthen their post-graduate work permit, which can allow them to spend more time learning, training and working in Canada after their studies.

St. Lawrence College has worked tirelessly to protect its students and staff throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and has taken steps during this time to ensure that the learning and wellbeing of students has been as unaffected as possible. Following these efforts, the college is pleased to confirm its intention to return to a primarily face-to-face delivery model for its programs of study and will aim to restore the delivery of its on-campus services from Fall 2021. Following the reopening of campuses, a number of protective policies and procedures will be put in place to help students feel safe and relaxed in continuing their studies.
St. Lawrence College is offering new Graduate Certificate Program Pairs. Specially paired to build the industry-driven skills a student will need, they will set them apart from the competition when they join the workforce. By selecting two sequential graduate certificate programs, students may be able to increase the duration of their Study Permit and Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP). Students can apply for these programs directly or with the help of one of the college’s international team members. This complementary learning experience offers students a considerable advantage when entering the workplace.
The college has designed a 360° Virtual Tour to let students explore each of its campuses, in the comfort of their own home, with family and friends. With the click of a button, students can wander around the beautiful campus grounds or tour the on-site residence rooms and common spaces. Due to the generous donations of a wide alumni network and partners of the college, St. Lawrence is proud to offer it students access to a wide range of scholarships and bursaries to assist them in paying for college and maximising their experience there. Securing a bursary or scholarship can make a significant difference for students by helping them to pay for their college experience. The awards can range in value from between CAD 500 and CAD 3,000. Students applying for scholarships or bursaries will need to submit an application to each scholarship they would like to apply for. The information provided in the application form will be the only determinant by which applicants are judged for awards, so students are encouraged to complete them carefully.

Applicants will be considered for awards according to a variety of factors, ranging across financial circumstance and needs, academic achievement, volunteer and community involvement activities, leadership skills and personal development.
St. Lawrence College is committed to welcoming a diverse range of students from around the world and supports this through an excellent array of English language programs alongside its regular academic offerings. Courses at the college are delivered in English and therefore applicants to courses at the college will be required to demonstrate a minimum of English language proficiency in order to be offered a place on their program of choice.
In order to attain entry to the college, applicants must have a specific level of understanding in English that allows them to understand the college’s instructors and be able to understand the technical language used during the classes of their chosen subject area. The proficiency requirements for applicants may vary according to the program selected, and the level at which it is being studied. There are a number of certification bodies from which the college accepts test results. Any results provided should be from within the last two years.
