Scholarships will be offered to international (non-EU) well-qualified applicants wishing to take up a place on any of the below courses in September 2019. The scholarships, each valued at £2,000, are intended to assist students to pay the fees for their chosen course of study. They will be awarded on a competitive basis to the most promising applicants. Eligible courses MSc Artificial Intelligence MSc Business Systems Analysis and Design MSc Computer Games Technology MSc Cyber Security MSc Data Science MSc Human-Computer Interaction Design MSc Information Science MSc/MA Library Science MSc Software Engineering.

SHS International Excellence Scholarships (IES)

Level of study

Student requirements

The scholarships will be awarded to applicants who demonstrate academic and clinical and/or professional excellence. Applicants must have an offer of a full-time place and be studying for the full MSc on one of SHS’s postgraduate programmes (those applying for the PG Cert or PG Diploma will unfortunately not be eligible). Please note students cannot be in receipt of more than one scholarship/bursary.

Dean’s Bursary for Professional Advancement

To qualify for The Dean's Bursary for Professional Advancement, you must: be a self-funded student and not in receipt of any other scholarships (except the alumni discount); be entering your first year of postgraduate study for the October or January intake on any one of our Masters programmes; be entering your first programme of study as a international student.
