What will I learn?

This unique major gives you the opportunity to study tourism with a focus on sustainability. You’ll explore policy issues relating to tourism and events, and the planning and management of sustainably coordinated events and festivals.

You’ll learn to link tourism and events with national policy, economic development and environmental and cultural management.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

IB -3 or better in Higher level (HL); 4 or better in Standard Level (SL). Academic International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Overall 6.0 with no band below 6.0; Test of English as a Foreign Language - IBT (TOEFL IBT) - 73 with no band less than 18; Test of English as a Foreign Language - Paper Based (TOEFL - Paper Based) - 534 (Test of Written English not less than 4.5); Cambridge Advanced English prior 52 with no section less than Borderline; Cambridge Advanced English after 169 overall with no band below 169; Occupational English Test (OET) - OET with a minimum of C in the four components; Pearson Test of English (PTE) 50 with no band below 50.

For international students

Applicants are required to complete secondary education (Year 12 or Australian equivalent) currently or within the last two years are eligible to apply. Entry requirements vary country by country.
