Entry requirements

For students from United States

Applicants must have a minimum of three (the best three) A level grades are used for entry or a maximum of two AS level subjects may be combined to substitute for one A Level subject. Other entry equivalent requirement for specific courses: Bachelor of Actuarial Science requires a minimum of 11. Faculty of Law requires a minimum total of 10 points. All other Faculties and programs require a minimum total of 5 points. Points system: A level subjects: A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1 ,AS level subjects: A=2.5, B=2, C=1.5, D=1, E=0.5. Applicants must have completed Year 12 or equivalent (in other Australian states). English Language Requirements: IELTS score 6.5 (Writing 6.5, Reading 6.0, Listening 6.0, Speaking 6.0); Test of English as a Foreign Language internet-Based Test: 79; PTE: 58 with a Communicative Skills score in writing 58 or above.

For international students

Entry requirements vary from country to country. Students are required to complete international academic qualification equivalent to Australia.

IELTS score Overall 6.5 with minimum 6.5 in Writing and 6.0 in Reading, Listening and Speaking; TOEFL iBT - 85 with a minimum of 24 in Writing; Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE) - 58 with a Communicative Skills score in writing 58 or above; Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) - 176 with minimum 176 in Writing and 169 in Reading, Listening and Speaking.
