The Bachelor of Aviation is a two-year, accelerated degree allowing students to progress more quickly into an aviation career or flying training. You will be introduced to the sciences underpinning the theory and practice of aviation, including the basic principles associated with each of the different phases of ab initio flying exercises in our virtual reality flight simulators. You will also study courses in areas such as navigation, safety management systems and the human factors. Our graduates have been successful in gaining a range of flying and management positions with organisations such as Cathay Pacific, Emirates, Etihad, Jetstar, Qantas, Regional Express and Virgin Australia as well as Airservices Australia and the Civil Aviation Safety Authority. Together with the Graduate Diploma of Flight Management, you will be ready for work as a commercial pilot. Our graduates have been successful in gaining a range of flying and management positions with organisations such as Cathay Pacific, Emirates, Etihad, Jetstar, Qantas, Regional Express, and Virgin Australia, as well as Airservices Australia and the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA).
