Summary

The broad and flexible Bachelor of Biodiversity and Conservation - which uniquely combines studies in plant and animal sciences, ecology and new remote sensing with environmental and conservation management - will equip you with such specialist skills. The Bachelor of Cyber Security has been developed in consultation with cybersecurity experts from government and industry. You'll gain the skills needed to harden organisations against cyber threats by building your awareness of the motivations, mindsets, capabilities and skills of cybercriminals and by developing your expertise in information security and data privacy, offensive security, digital forensics, applied cryptography, secure coding and artificial intelligence.

Entry requirements

For international students

To apply for an undergraduate program, international students will need to have completed one or more of the following academic qualifications:

  • A recognised senior secondary school qualification or university entrance examination, such as the New South Wales Higher School Certificate (NSW HSC) or other equivalent Australian or overseas high school qualification
  • A recognised university Foundation course
  • A recognised 2 or 3-year Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree
  • At least one year of a university degree from a recognised institution

English language requirements

  • IELTS Academic - IELTS of 6.5 overall with minimum 6.0 in each band, or equivalent
  • TOEFL iBT - 83 (Reading - 13; Writing - 21; Listening - 12; Speaking - 18)
  • PTE Academic - 58 minimum 52 in each band, or equivalent
  • Cambridge English (C1A or C2P) - 180 minimum 169 in each band, or equivalent
