What will I learn?

This major enables you to comprehend and utilise the languages of music, investigate musical cultures, and interact with pertinent theoretical concepts that facilitate communication among musicians and between musicians and their audiences.You will examine musical literature and communication, musicology, the music industry, genres and branding, as well as project creation and execution.This major provides you with the skills and knowledge necessary for careers in contemporary performance, education (with additional study), and community settings.Combine your music specialization with a Creative Writing major or choose from a wide array of minors across several disciplines.
