Prepare to become an effective early childhood teacher and leader with our early childhood degree. Our course is tailored for educators aiming to meet the needs of modern early childhood services. You’ll explore the philosophies, principles, and practices of early childhood teaching, including how to integrate core discipline areas - language and literacy, mathematics, the arts, science, and health and well being - into engaging, play based learning programs.Additionally, you’ll build expertise in research methods, professional practice, project management, and effective communication. Upon graduation, you’ll be required to register with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) as an Early Childhood Teacher, enabling you to teach across a variety of early childhood settings. This nationally accredited program is recognised by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) and meets the standards set by VIT for Early Childhood Teacher registration.
