What will I learn?

This major will introduce you to the scientific study of human behaviour, psychology, and mental processes which have applications in many careers.Psychological sciences concern the scientific study of human behaviour, psychology and mental processes.You will learn about how we behave as individuals as well as in groups the way we act as well as the way we think and our interactions with the physical world as well as our interactions with others.The Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Science is an undergraduate coursework degree that provides you with a background in both the humanities and the sciences. You will study core and core selective liberal studies units in topics including academic writing, critical thinking and ethics. You will choose a major from either the Arts or Science disciplinary pools, and complete additional units from the other faculty to support your studies. You will also complete elective units from the disciplinary pools, the shared pool or the Open Learning Environment as needed to meet the requirements of the course.
