What will I learn?

The Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care is designed for students who want to make a difference in the lives of children (aged 0 to 5), as a childcare support worker or early childhood educator.

You will work with children during a critical time in their development and gain the essential skills and knowledge to have a positive impact on their future.

Our extensive industry partnerships enables you to learn in a real workplace with experts in the field. You will learn how to provide safe, meaningful and inclusive education in a fun and playful setting, and how to honour children’s voice, culture and rights.

Through course work, you will learn to:

Understand the health and safety of babies and children
Promote good nutrition and positive meal experiences
Use an approved learning framework
Support holistic development through play and learning
Identify and respond to children at risk
Perform emergency first aid
Promote cultural competence
