What will I learn?

The CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) will provide you with the knowledge and skills required to follow an individualized plan to provide person-centered support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason. A great program to start your career in aged care!

COURSE INFORMATION

Our Individual Support course has been developed according to the requirements of the Community Services Training Package (CHC) and has been approved for delivery by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). They are nationally recognized qualifications within the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).

COURSE DELIVERY & ASSESSMENT METHODS

The course is delivered over 20 hours face to face per week over 27 college weeks. Students are on campus for the classroom delivery and practical application of learning in the clinical simulation lab.

Aged Care Worker, Personal Care Assistant, Residential Care Worker, In-home Respite Worker, Accommodation Support Worker

Study pathway:

Upon completion of this course, students may consider enrolling for the Diploma of Nursing offered by Skills Training Australia or any CRICOS course offered by other colleges in the Academies Australasia Group.

Entry requirements

For international students

Applicants must be 18 years or older

Year 11 or equivalent certificate of senior secondary education

IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with no band score less than 6.0 (or equivalent). If the level of English is insufficient, a suitable course can be organised.
