Our aircraft engineering pre-vocational courses provide essential training required to begin a career in aircraft maintenance. We deliver the essential pre-apprenticeship, underpinning vocational theory training towards the Certificate IV in Aeroskills (in Mechanical, Structures or Avionics).

Our state-of-the-art Technical Training Centre features a world class maintenance hangar and a comprehensive range of aircraft.

Avionics is a continually evolving specialisation. Every new aircraft type involves new cuttingedge technology. If you choose the avionics stream, you will learn the skills required to maintain and service various aircraft electrical, radio, instrument and navigation systems.

Entry requirement for international students

Minimum 16 years of age

Minimum Australian Year 10 (or equivalent) completion of high school, with a pass in English, Mathematics and Physics. Successful completion of Aviation Australia’s Language, Literacy and Numeracy aptitude testing.
