AUR40620 – Certificate IV in Automotive Electrical Technology reflects the role of individuals who work as master diagnostic technicians the automotive service and repair industry; servicing, diagnosing and repairing vehicle electrical systems and components. A range of advanced electrical diagnostic skills and knowledge is necessary, and leadership and supervision of others would be expected.
Qualification Issued
Completing all the units of competency within this qualification will lead to the issuance of a Certificate IV in Automotive Electrical Technology (AUR40620) and a transcript of academic record. Students who successfully complete individual units of competency, but not the whole qualification, will be eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment detailing the completed units.

Students Must have successfully completed AUR30320 Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or be able to demonstrate equivalent competency.
A minimum of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent is required, TOEFL iBT score of 46-59; Cambridge score of 47; PTE score of 42.
