The 10905NAT Certificate IV in University Preparation program elevates the IB Certificates pathway to include a university entry rank.

This is the only program of its kind in Australia.

Students who meet all the requirements for the IB subjects studied, and the Certificate IV, will receive:

• Individual IB Certificates, showing grades for each subject
• Certificate IV Completion Certificate, including university entry rank
• QCE Certificate

Certificate IV in University Preparation Objectives

The 10950NAT Certificate IV in University Preparation is designed to:

• Provide learners with the theoretical and practical knowledge to support their transition into and success in the university environment
• Develop broad factual, technical, and theoretical knowledge in specific discipline areas such as business, humanities, and STEM
• Develop a range of cognitive, critical thinking, problem solving, technical and communication skills within the academic environment

Course Structure
To achieve the Certificate IV in University Preparation qualification learners must complete a minimum of six (6) units – two (2) Core, one (1) Core Elective, and three (3) Electives.

Mathematics or HASS are classified as core electives, and learners must select and complete one of them to achieve the qualification. The remaining three (3) Electives may be chosen by the learner in accordance with their undergraduate study/career aspirations. There are no prerequisites.
