What will I learn?

When you join AC -- no matter your level of musical experience -- in our Certificate III in Music Industry (CUA30915), you will learn invaluable performance and improvisation techniques; as well as improve your song writing, chart reading, arranging, recording and music directing skills.

You will also gain a critical understanding of the music industry, musical genres and copyright. Delivered online, this nationally recognized qualification is suitable for all people at all levels of musicianship, even if you have no previous formal vocal or instrumental training.


This course comprises 11 units of competency to be completed over 6 months full time and consists of:

4 Core units

7 Elective units

To be awarded the Certificate III in Music Industry, students must show competency in 4 core and 7 elective units.
