What will I learn?

If music is your passion, then enrol in CUA60515 Advanced Diploma of Music Industry [Performance] which will help refine your talent and perfect your performance skills. This course focuses on teaching advanced skill techniques in performance, song arranging, composition and stagecraft techniques.

During your studies, you will develop your analytical, performance and creative skills under the guidance of highly experienced industry lecturers and mentors who will share the best techniques for networking with industry professionals including promotors, publishers, venue bookers, producers, artists and songwriters.

By the end of this course you would have perfected your skills as a songwriter and performer, developing, producing and releasing your own recording product which will be your calling card to the music industry.

Entry requirements

For international students

Entry requirements vary from country to country. Applicants must have completed the equivalent of Australian year 12.

Completion of CUA50815 Diploma of Music Industry [Performance] is required for entry into this course.

IELTS score (academic) of 5.5 with no band score less than 5.0; TOEFL 55 (iBT); Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic – Minimum Level 43; Password score of 5.5; Eiken Grade Pre 1; Successful completion of at least 2 years of study at an acceptable grade in an English medium course completed within the previous 2 years OR GCE O Levels English with 'C'; 'A' or 'B' in Malaysian SPM English or 'C' in 1119 English; Kenyan KCSE English 'C'; International Baccalaureate (IB) Minimum of 3 in English A1 or A2; Completion of the Cambridge First Certificate of English (FCE); Successful completion of English for Academic Purposes (EAP) at Upper Intermediate Level or equivalent at North Metropolitan TAFE or a recognized English college.
