The Audio Engineering course is perfect for students who want to be producers and specialists in a variety of audio production fields including live sound, recording, producing and post-production. You will be taught and mentored by experienced industry experts who are currently working as live sound technicians, producers, and post-production specialists.
You will work with analogue and digital equipment in our cutting-edge facilities, where you will master a variety of software and learn in small-sized classes so that you finish the degree with a wealth of hands-on experience. Audio Engineering students also work closely with students from other courses to gain a well-rounded understanding of processes involved in the music and entertainment industry.

The Diploma of Arts (Audio Production) course is perfect for people wanting to work as producers and specialists in a variety of audio production fields including live sound, recording, producing, and post-production.
The diploma can be completed in two trimesters (8 months) of full-time study, where you will have the opportunity to progress into the Bachelor Degree or Double Degree (subject to academic performance).

English Language Proficiency
An international student whose first language is not English should be able to speak and write English to a level sufficient to cope with the requirements of tertiary study. To be accepted to a course of study at Collarts, an international applicant must provide evidence of English Language Proficiency at one of the following minimum levels (or equivalent) with no individual band below 6.0:
• IELTS Band Score 6.0
• Cambridge CAE Score: 169
• Pearson Academic Score between 51-58
• TOEFL iBT Score between 60-78
