The qualification packaging has been developed on an assumption that competency will be developed through an integrated combination of on and off-the-job learning strategies, such as those delivered through a formal apprenticeship. The qualification may also be achieved through formal skills recognition assessment processes.

For international students

This qualification may be accessed by direct entry, Although, It is highly recommended that the student have:

  • have satisfactory numeracy and literacy capabilities
  • are mature age (over 18 years at the time of commencement)

Successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent overseas/ Australian qualifications; Applicants who do not meet these academic prerequisites but have relevant work experience may apply.

English Language Proficiency - must demonstrate minimum language skills:

IELTS (Academic): 5.0; TOEFL IBT: 61; Pearson Test of English (PTE): 40.
