What will I learn?

These courses are equivalent to the 1st year of your La Trobe University degree – only with tailored learning and more support. The Diploma of Information Technology provides a broad introduction to computing, after which you will progress to a more specialised area during your degree such as computer networking, information systems, software development and web development. Youll begin to develop an understanding of the architecture and functions of computer networks, learn how to analyse and design information systems and create solutions to programming problems while learning a programming language.

Equivalent to an Australian Year 12 Senior Secondary Certificate.

English language requirements

IELTS (Academic) - Overall score of 5.5 (no band score below 5.5); Cambridge English: Level B2; PTE Academic: 36 (no skill less than 36); La Trobe College Australia English - EFS 4B.
