English for Direct Entry is a pathway to higher education programs. This course has been developed for students who need a thorough preparation for higher education, including TAFE, other vocational institutions and university.
English for Direct Entry Level 1 (10 weeks , 25 hours per week)
Level 1 introduces students to academic reading and writing and formal spoken language. Essay writing, note taking and formal oral presentations are key components of the course. Students must achieve a passing grade in all skills to complete the course successfully and satisfy the English language entry requirements for all Flinders University undergraduate and post-graduate Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 courses, and entry to English for Direct Entry Level 2.
