FNS60217 Advanced Diploma of Accounting qualification is a packaged course delivered in three (3) stages at SBTA as follows:
Stage 1: You will study FNS40217 Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping qualification and be awarded the FNS40217 Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping qualification after successful completion before progressing to Stage 2.
Stage 2: You will study FNS50217 Diploma of Accounting qualification and be the awarded the FNS50217 Diploma of Accounting qualification after successful completion before progressing to stage 3.
Stage 3: You will study FNS60217 Advanced Diploma of Accounting qualification and be the awarded the FNS60217 Advanced Diploma of Accounting qualification after successful completion.
If you have enrolled in this FNS60217 Advanced Diploma of Accounting qualification, you will first study and successfully complete and be issued with the FNS40217 Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping qualification at Stage 1 level, then you will study and must successfully complete and be issued with the FNS50217 Diploma of Accounting qualification at Stage 2 level prior to proceeding to study the FNS60217 Advanced Diploma of Accounting qualification at Stage 3.
Certification
Students who successfully complete this course will be issued with the AQF (Australian Qualifications Framework) FNS60217 Advanced Diploma of Accounting qualification. Students who partially complete this course (a minimum of one unit of competency) will be issued with a Statement of Attainment from FNS60217 Advanced Diploma of Accounting qualification for the unit/s of competency successfully completed.

Entry requirement for international students
To study this course at SBTA, the students must:
- be 18 years and over
- Completed Year 12 or overseas equivalent
Academic
- Completion of both FNSSS00014 Accounting Principles Skill Set and FNSSS00015 Advanced Accounting Principles Skill Set; OR
- Completion of FNS50215 Diploma of Accounting; OR
- Completion of FNS50217 Diploma of Accounting.
English
- Minimum score of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent; or
- an English proficiency of upper intermediate level or above from any NEAS accredited ELICOS provider.
