About the course

Study our one-year Graduate Diploma of Commerce to deepen your understanding of business and further your professional career. You can choose subjects that relate to your chosen occupation or specialism, while developing your technical knowledge to advance to senior positions. You will also build on your problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

What will you study?

You'll study eight postgraduate commerce subjects across this one-year course.

Progression

The Graduate Diploma of Commerce provides a route into the Master of Commerce. Credit may be granted for the subjects studied during the Graduate Diploma.

Alternatively, you may receive credit for up to eight subjects towards the Master of Business Administration (MBA). Following successful completion of your Graduate Diploma of Commerce, you can go on to complete the MBA in just one year. You should declare your plan to progress to the MBA when you enrol to make sure you take the correct subjects.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

You may receive up to 50% credit for previous studies completed at a postgraduate or equivalent level.

For international students

You'll need an Australian bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent bachelor’s degree from another country, to enrol on one of our postgraduate courses.

English language requirement:

If you're applying for a postgraduate degree, you will need to have an Academic minimum overall score of 6.0. More specifically, you will need to have achieved a score of no less than 6.0 in the writing band and no less than 5.5 in all other bands.
