At Strathfield College, you will become competent in designing systems and solutions that use technology to meet the needs of the user. You will develop skills in a range of areas crucial for IT professionals, including analysis, project management, client support, and e-business. A qualification in IT will prepare you to work in small to medium businesses in areas including IT support, database development, website design and programming.

Credit Transfer
Credit may be awarded on the basis of a combination of Credit Transfer plus an individual RPL assessment for additional learning. For international students, any reduction in overall course duration brought about by RPL/Credit Transfer is reported via PRISMS and an appropriate eCoE issued. Course Assessment
Trainer/Assessor will use the correct assessment tools to gather sufficient and quality evidence about student performance in order to make the assessment decision based on the qualification training and assessment strategy. Assessment evidence may include but is not limited to: Case Study; Project; Written Report; Written Question; Role Play; Observation/Presentation.

There are no pre-requisites for any of the units of competency contained within it. This course is available to all international students and Strathfield College requires that students are able to provide evidence that they:
• Have demonstrated an IELTS level of at least 5.5 or equivalent or the successful completion of at least General English Upper Intermediate or English for Academic Purposes.
• Have successfully completed Australian year 12 or equivalent
• Are at least 18 years old at the date of course commencement;
• Have a suitable level of language, literacy and numeracy (LLN), to complete course requirements
Please Note: All the students commencing this course are required to complete an LLN test on the orientation day to assist Strathfield College to identify student’s needs for additional support during their study with Strathfield College.
