What will you do?

This intensive program meets the needs of entrants from both relevant and non-relevant fields. You will:

explore economic concepts, theories and analytical techniques
learn the fundamentals of financial and management accounting
study future-oriented marketing concepts
undertake a marketing research project.

Where could it take you?

You might use your marketing skills to promote your own accounting business. You could balance costs and evaluate campaign impact for major fashion or tech brands. Perhaps you’ll cook up international sales strategies for winemakers or start your own enterprise.

Our Master of Accounting and Marketing satisfies the requirements for associate membership of CPA Australia, and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Career Readiness

The Accounting specialisation, supplemented with marketing studies, strengthens graduates’ employability in corporations and government organisations.
The advanced Marketing pathway improves graduates’ employability in organisations operating in the areas of taxation, auditing and management accounting.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Entry to postgraduate coursework programs as a minimum requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from an approved institution as a qualification for entry. Some of the graduate certificates and graduate diplomas that are offered may be accepted as qualifying work for entry to a Master’s program, or as professional qualifications in their own right. English language requirements: IELTS (Academic) Minimum Scores - Overall band score of 6.5 and Band score of 6 in all bands; TOEFL Minimum Scores -Internet-based: total score of 79 with a minimum of 21 in Writing, 18 in Speaking and 13 in Reading and Listening; Pearson Test of English (Academic) Minimum Scores - Overall score of 58 and Skills profile of no less than 50 in all skills, Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) - Overall score of 176 and Individual score of 169 in all skills.
