About the course
This is an 18-month course where you will study 12 subjects, covering topics such as management marketing, strategy and finance. You also have the opportunity to specialise in Accounting and Finance, Entrepreneurship and Leadership, HR Management, IT or Marketing.
Who is this course for?
The 12-subject MBA course is designed for students who already have an undergraduate degree and at least three years' relevant work experience. If you don't have the required experience, you may be eligible to study our 16-subject MBA.
What will you study?
You can tailor your degree to suit your career aspirations. You will study:
three core subjects,
one restricted elective subject (set A),
four restricted elective subjects (set B), plus
a four-subject specialisation OR four restricted electives (set C).

It is possible to receive credit for a maximum of 50% of the course for postgraduate qualifications completed in the past ten years. Undergraduate level subjects will not make you eligible for credit.
It is possible for you to complete two master's degrees, the Master of Professional Accounting or Master of Commerce and the Master of Business Administration, within two years. You may get credit up to a maximum of 50% of the MBA program if you have been admitted to the MBA due to successful completion of the CSU Master of Business or Master of Commerce depending on the subjects studied and whether you have the relevant work experience required.

You'll need an Australian bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent bachelor’s degree from another country, to enrol on one of our postgraduate courses.
English language requirement:
If you’re applying for a postgraduate degree, you will need to have an Academic minimum overall score of 6.0. More specifically, you will need to have achieved a score of no less than 6.0 in the writing band and no less than 5.5 in all other bands.
