What will I learn?


The creative sector is rapidly emerging as an economic force to be reckoned with millions of people now work in this fast-growing and dynamic sector. Encompassing arts management; music, film, television and radio; screen and film production and practice; the performing and visual arts; advertising and marketing; writing, publishing and print media; and software and interactive content development, the sector offers diverse and rewarding career opportunities. This course will take your career in the media and creative industries to the next level by teaching you a range of practical and entrepreneurial knowledge and skills, and through your utilisation of world-class production studios, so you can produce, publish, distribute and promote media and creative projects in a real-world context.


You'll learn from award-winning writers, filmmakers, documentary makers, broadcasters, and audio and music specialists.

You'll develop skills in the design and delivery of projects for a range of platforms and media.

Units allow you to grow your entrepreneurship skills and understanding of the online environment.

You will work on practical projects in world-class production facilities.

AQF level 8 bachelor honours or graduate diploma qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent, Meet two of the following three criteria: AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent; Minimum two years relevant approved work experience at senior management level, professional certification or other recognised prior learning; AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification or recognised equivalent with a WAM of 65; The required standard of English for this program is: Academic IELTS of 6.5 overall with minimum 6.0 in each band, or equivalent.
