Graduate coursework programs normally require the satisfactory completion of an undergraduate degree either from the University of Melbourne, another Australian institution, or a university in another country. English language requirements for Coursework degree: IELTS (academic English Only) - 6.5 overall, with written 6.5 and no band less than 6.0; TOEFL (paper-based test) - 577 + TWE 4.5; TOEFL (internet-based test) - 79 + (Writing 21; Speaking 18; Reading 13; Listening 13); Pearson Test of English (Academic) - 58 + no other communicative skill below 50; Cambridge English: Advanced/ Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) - 176 + no less than 185 in Writing and 169 in each other skill. 1. Prior qualification: an engineering degree from the University of Melbourne

If you hold the following engineering pathway degree from the University of Melbourne, with a weighted average mark of at least H3 (65%), you will be eligible to enter the 2-year program:

Bachelor of Science with a Mechatronics Systems major.

2. Prior qualification: an engineering degree or major

If you hold an engineering degree or major in an equivalent specialisation from another institution, with a weighted average mark of at least 65%, or equivalent.

3. Prior qualification: any undergraduate degree (3 years)

English language requirements:

IELTS (academic English Only): 6.5 (no band less than 6.0);
TOEFL (paper-based test): 577 +, TWE 4.5;
TOEFL (internet-based test): 79 + (Writing 21; Speaking 18; Reading 13; Listening 13);
