Become a project manager and gain a competitive edge in business

The Master of Project Management and Master of Business Administration double degree provides you with the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills required to become a successful project manager, while also developing an understanding of the broader management context, better preparing you for senior management roles.

You will receive a separate testamur (official certificate) for each degree and will be able to complete the double degree in less time than if you chose to study the two degrees separately.

Professional accreditation

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Completion of an Australian university Bachelor degree in the area of business or equivalent plus a minimum of two years’ professional work experience, or equivalent. For candidates who have a Bachelor degree or equivalent (AQF level 7) in a non-related discipline from a recognised institution, with two years' professional work experience in the area of business, USQ’s Graduate Certificate of Business provides an articulation pathway into the Master of Business Administration. Upon completion and achievement of a minimum GPA of 4.0, they will be eligible for entry into the Master of Business Administration. English language requirements: IELTS (Academic only) score of 6.5 (or better)(no component lower than 6.0); TOEFL (paper based) score of 570 (with a minimum Test of Written English score TWE 5); TOEFL (electronic or computer based) score of 230 (with an essay rating of at least 5); TOEFL (internet based) score of 90 (or better) (with 20 minimum in all bands); Pearson (PTE Academic) score of 58 (or better) (with no communicative score less than 58); Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE)/ C1 Advanced or Proficiency (CPE)/C2 Proficiency with a score of 176 or above. No less than 169 in each skill.

For candidates with a bachelor degree(AQF level 7), or equivalent, in a non-business-related discipline, USQ’s Graduate Certificate of Business can provide a pathway into the Master of Project Management and Master of Business Administration. Upon completion and achievement of a minimum GPA of 4.0, they will be eligible for entry into the Master of Project Management and Master of Business Administration or

Candidates with a graduate certificate (AQF Level 8) or higher qualification in any discipline, with 2 years’ full-time relevant professional work experience in business, may apply for entry. Eligibility for entry will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
