What will I learn?

Paramedical Science research at ECU concentrates on emergency care prehospital resuscitation as well as the management and policy of prehospital emergency care provisionSpecific postgraduate research topics are developed in conjunction with the postgraduate coordinator or potential supervisor however applications are particularly encouraged from those with an interest in Critical care Extended Care Paramedicine Emergency response Aeromedical retrieval Disaster and emergency management Researchers in the school are currently involved in projects investigating the benefits of aeromedical retrieval simulation in prehospital education delivery and prehospital resuscitation The School also has collaborations with state wide national and international organisations including the Royal Flying Doctors Service FALCK the West Australian Department of Fire and Emergency Services and the West Australian Department of Mines and Petroleum

Alternatively applicants can hold an Honours degree, or the equivalent in a relevant field from a recognised University, Applicants seeking online study will be required to provide additional information to support their application, as not all projects nor disciplines are suited to online study.Academic admission requirements (Band 10) may be satisfied through completion of one of the following:Masters Degree (Research);Masters Degree (Coursework) in a related discipline area;Masters Degree (Coursework) with 2/3 research component; orBachelor Honours Degree.English competency requirements:
