Build your aspirations in civil construction management by studying the Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design. This course will provide you with the knowledge and leaderships skills required for the principal areas of civil construction so that you can establish yourself in this expanding industry.

During your studies, you will learn about various systems including environmental, occupational health and safety management systems and quality and risk management systems. You will also gain the skills to provide solutions to technical problems and manage any requirements that may arise in civil construction projects. When you graduate, you will have the expertise be able to participate in the creation of infrastructure facilities such as roads, railways, buildings, water reservoirs, subdivisions, airports, bridges, sewer systems, tunnels, dams and other public works.

Entry requirement for international students

Entry requirements vary from country to country. Applicants must have completed the equivalent of Australian year 12.

English Language Requirements:

IELTS score (academic) of 5.5 with no band score less than 5.0; TOEFL 55 (iBT); Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic – Minimum Level 43; Password score of 5.5; Eiken Grade Pre 1; Successful completion of at least 2 years of study at an acceptable grade in an English medium course completed within the previous 2 years OR GCE O Levels English with 'C'; 'A' or 'B' in Malaysian SPM English or 'C' in 1119 English; Kenyan KCSE English 'C'; International Baccalaureate (IB) Minimum of 3 in English A1 or A2; Completion of the Cambridge First Certificate of English (FCE); Successful completion of English for Academic Purposes (EAP) at Upper Intermediate Level or equivalent at North Metropolitan TAFE or a recognized English college.
