Summary
This exciting qualification reflects the role of senior managers and small business owners of personal services businesses. They are responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operation of the business and for planning, monitoring and evaluating the work of the team. Salon managers also operate with significant autonomy to make strategic business management decisions. This qualification provides two pathway options, either via the Business Stream to work as a salon manager in any type of personal service business OR for Diploma of Beauty Therapy* graduates, the IPL/Laser Hair Reduction Stream after completing a few additional units allows graduates to work as a salon manager and provide hair reduction services.

Salon managers also operate with significant autonomy to make strategic business management decisions. This qualification provides two pathway options, either via the Business Stream to work as a salon manager in any type of personal service business OR for Diploma of Beauty Therapy graduates, the IPL/Laser Hair Reduction Stream including two business units. The IPL/laser Hair Reduction graduates complete the Diploma plus 3 additional units.
